5th Grade Beginning Band Information & Rental Night

Important meeting for 5th grade parents with children starting band!

6:00 OR 7:00 PM meetings at Central– short presentation and

Rieman Music store representatives will be available for you to rent

an instrument and get everything your child needs to get started!

 

September 16

All Band Extravaganza pre-game football performance

ALL 5th – 12th grade

Pre-game show during home football game

Music Booster Chili/Soup Supper

 

November 19

Santa’s Arrival at Merle Hay Mall 10:00 AM

Cookie Walk Fundraiser at HS

In past years we have raised enough money to purchase french

horns. This is the same night as the Middle School Music Concert.

Elementary & Middle School Solo & Ensemble Festival

These are individual and small group performances at various

scheduled times between 4:30 – 7:30 PM at the High School

 

March 5

Parade of Bands at HS small gym , 7:00 PM

ALL 5th – 12th concert and jazz bands

 

May 8

Elementary Band Concert at HS small gym, 7:00 PM

5th and 6th grade bands

 Central Elementary Vocal Music
 
Central Elementary vocal music students participate in one vocal concert each year. Concerts are held at 7:00 pm in the High School, Gym 2
 
The dates for the concerts are:

 West Elementary Vocal Music
 
West Elementary vocal music students have the opportunity to participate in one vocal music concert each year.  Concerts are held in the West Elementary Gym in Polk City.
The dates for the concerts are:
Dec. 13 - Kindergarten @ 6:00pm
1st Grade @ 7:30pm
 
Feb. 7 - 4th Grade @ 6:00pm
5th Grade @ 7:30pm
 
Apr. 12 - 2nd Grade @ 6:00pm
3rd Grade @ 7:30pm 
 
Families will be given reminder notes about the concerts in advance with more details.
